Robustness Simulator™

U.S. Patent No. 8,437,987 B2 granted to S-Matrix Corporation. Robustness Simulator patent extension to incorporate multiple statistical metrics of process robustness which can be automatically computed for all critical quality attributes studied into its method development experiments.

Trend Responses™

U.S. Patent No. 8,219,328 B2 granted to S-Matrix Corporation. Trend Responses patent extended to incorporate generalized functionality which extends the types of trend responses which can be automatically derived from QbD experiment chromatograms to both Peak Count based and Peak Result based Trend Responses, and incorporates the use of flexible mathematical operators (e.g. ≤, ≥, <, >, =), user specified limit values, and any HPLC or UHPLC response data computed for the experiment chromatograms (along with other instrumentation types). This allows greater flexibility in defining, obtaining, and modeling chromatographic separations.

Response Data Handler™

U.S. Patent No. 8,209,149 granted to S-Matrix Corporation. An expert-system based capability for automatically handling complex response data sets and transforming them into results which can be statistically analyzed and modeled. Complex data sets are ones in which of multiple measurements for a given result are obtained for each experimental run. These data sets must be "reduced" to one or more individual results which can be modeled. An simple example is computing descriptive statistics such as the Mean and Standard Deviation from the repeat result measurements obtained for each experimental run. A more complex example is time-series data such as synthesis or dissolution data obtained for the experimental runs, in which the multiple time-linked results for each run can be converted into individual graph curves, and "reduced" curve-fit metrics such as f1 and f2 can be obtained from the reduced data.

Trend Responses™

U.S. Patent No. 7,613,574 B2 granted to S-Matrix Corporation. Trend Responses are metrics of chromatographic separation qualities which are automatically derived from experiment chromatograms without the need for laborious and error-prone peak tracking in the experiment chromatograms. This is especially valuable in column and solvent system screening experiments.

Robustness Simulator™

U.S. Patent No. 7,606,685 B2 granted to S-Matrix Corporation. Robustness Simulator integrates automatically computed statistical metrics of robustness into Fusion QbD experiments for all critical quality attributes studied. This fully characterizes study system robustness without requiring additional experiments, and enables identifying and graphically visualizing conditions which are simultaneously optimized for mean performance and robustness.

System for Automating Scientific and Engineering Experimentation

U.S. Patent No. 7,239,996 B2 granted to S-Matrix Corporation. A software based automated experimentation platform (AEP) with integrated capabilities for generating statistical experimental designs, analyzing and modeling results, and identifying and graphically visualizing optimum conditions for mean performance and robustness which includes generalized data exchange modules (DEMs) for automating data exchanges between the AEP and one or more target applications and for enabling the data exchange of the AEP to be generic; the system wherein the one or more target applications can be any of or any combination of external software applications, devices, or instrument control programs (ICPs).
